Cycle Toronto (formerly the Toronto Cyclists Union) is a diverse member-supported organization that advocates for a healthy, safe, cycling-friendly city for all. Among other things, they are strong advocates for adding bicycle lanes on Toronto's streets.
TBN is the largest recreational cycling club in the Greater Toronto Area and offers plenty of cycling activities for riders of all levels. TBN also organizes a variety of other activities that include hiking, cross-country skiing, ice-skating and weekend excursions.
Funded by a partnership development grant from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the Cycling Think & Do Tank combines expert practitioners and academics to build more sustainable cities and encourage more people to cycle as their primary means of transportation, particularly over the short distances that make up a high proportion of daily trips.
